Peace in our Lord, Phil Brady
When we look at history and see the depths of man's failure to love his neighbor as himself, we see an opportunity to recognize that the God of Love speaks the words of life that constantly prove He is True. There's our way and there is God's Way and the results of our words verses God's Words will manifest in time. The outward signs of the inward reality is plain to see, so this is why we must meditate on the Words that bring Life and Goodness into the world. We should also keep a vigilant guard on the words we speak and the thoughts we think since, just like our God, we can speak life into the world by what we ask for, think, say and do in His Name.
If we have a God Who wants us to have the FULLNESS of life within us, does it not make the most perfect sense that He would offer us the best option for protecting the greatest gift He has ever given; LOVE? Family life, with all its challenges still is the best and most efficient way of protecting loved ones who have chosen to believe in the ideals our God has set before all of Humanity. To take the risk of faith to live the ideal of a family requires grace to sustain a grace under constant attack from the world. This is why we as faithful need to unite the sacrament of marriage with the rest of the sacraments.

New discovery of 70 books dating back to the time of the first Church found in a cave in Jordan could be the most significant find of ALL time! Some of the books are sealed indicating they may represent the sealed books that only the Messiah could open in the books of Revelation. These books are metal and show pictures imprinted in them of the way Jeruselm looked around the time of Christ.
My first thoughts are that these books were used by the early Church as liturgical books in the celebration of the Mass. Each page and binder is the size of a credit card leaving scientist to speculate that these were a private devotion set of books but I don't think so. I believe the reason they were so small was because the early Church was on the run, hiding from the many enemies that wanted to put a stop to this New Way. The early Church hiding in caves had to be able to run at a moment's notice, so big liturgical books would not be realistic.
